The next big wave of supplements is on the horizon and there are a few early contenders. Isatori Morph is one of these contenders, along with Force Factor, Epozine-O2 by BSN, and a few others. This new wave of supplements combines the vasodilating effects of Arginine with the energy/ATP synthesizing effects of creatine. While we obviously know that arginine and creatine are powerful enough on their own, people are discovering that products that combine these two, along with a unique supporting cast of ingredients, are incredibly potent for increasing lean muscle.

Diet…then Supplementation

At the Muscle Feed, we do not believe that taking supplements is any excuse for a poor diet, so it is important that we preface our supplement reviews with that statement. But Isatori Morph is going to take you to new levels if you already have your diet in line. If you want to learn more about proper nutrition in bodybuilding, check out our Diet section.

Back to Isatori Morph: this muscle building formula features three proprietary blends engineered to work together to increase lean muscle and decrease recovery time. These are the three proprietary blends in Morph:

  1. Pre-Workout: Carnostim-x (Instant Type II Muscle Fiber Activator)
  2. Intra-Workout: Hydro-PUMP (Continuous Plasma and Blood Expander)
  3. Post-Workout: Prosyntha-Rx (Fast-Acting Muscle Cell Regenerator)

We will go over each blend that is in Isatori Morph and how the specific ingredients work together to help your workout.

Pre-Workout Blend

The pre-workout blend in Isatori Morph consists of Beta-Alanine, L-Histidine, Aspartic Acid, and Niacin. Beta-Alanine is making a lot of news in the fitness world because of its claims to support endurance during exercise. Specifically, beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that isn’t used in the formation of protein. Beta-Alanine helps the body synthesize carnosine, an amino acid that is found in type I and type II muscle fibers, but most abundantly in type II. Type II muscle fibers are the fibers that you use for short, intensive bursts of strength like lifting weights and running. The benefit of carnosine is that it helps reduce lactic acid, so you “burn out” less quickly. This mean more reps, and more muscle.

Isatori Morph also contains L-Histidine. Now, unlike the Beta-Alanine found in Morph, L-Histidine cannot be synthesized by the body, so supplementing with it is important.  The benefits of L-Histidine are vasodilation (increase in the size of the blood vessel walls allowing for a better “pump”) and improved endocrine and immune system function. L-Histidine has been studied for its benefit in increasing human sexual response as well. So there is an added benefit that is in Isatori Morph that you won’t find in many others.

Intra-Workout Blend

The intra-workout blend is designed to increase blood flow during the workout, resulting in increased vascularity and nutrient delivery. The primary ingredients reponsible for this in Isatori Morph are L-Arginine and Arginine compounds. Arginine is an amino acid that is well-studied and highly regarded for its ability to expand blood vessels. Most of the pre-workout products you have tried like NO-Xplode and Jack3d are packed with L-Arginine for this exact reason. Doctors will often prescribe L-Arginine to men with Erectile Dysfunction (ED) to help increase bloodflow to the genitals. So if you end up trying Isatori Morph, you may not have to buy Enzyte or Extenze anymore (but don’t that that to the bank).

The other ingredients in Isatori Morph’s Intra-Workout blend are simply designed to help arginine uptake properly. As with many dietary supplements, Arginine can take time to start working. By including arginine activators, Morph helps speed up this process.

Post-Workout Blend

The Post-Workout Blend in Isatori Morph contains Creatine, and L-Citrulline to help restore muscle fibers and synthesize ATP for energy in your next workout. Creatine is a popular supplement that help increase energy and endurance during workouts. The funny thing is, you are supposed to take it after a workout, because this is when the body is primed to use it. Creatine will help increase energy by promoting the body’s synthesis of ATP of Adenosine Triphosphate. Creatine is not like caffeine, which begins to work immediately after supplementing with it. Creatine must be absorbed by the body before it can start working. Many people argue back and forth over whether an athlete should do a “loading phase” in which he or she would take 4 servings of creatine on the first few days of supplementing with it. However, most new research tends to agree that a loading phase is not necessary.

The creatine in in Isatori Morph is Di-Creatine Malate, which needn’t be loaded.

User Reviews

Here are some reviews that we collected from our archives and across the internet:

Just finished my first bottle of Morph as I got a free sample bottle from my supplier. I’ve liked Isatori products in the past but was skeptical about Morph’s claims. Every supps company out there states their version of ‘this’ and ‘that’ is the best and ‘groundbreaking’

I weigh 235lbs so I took 9 tabs on workout days as instructed and 2×3 tabs on non workout days at different times.

First time I took it was 30 mins before hitting bi’s and tri’s together. Didn’t feel much of a pump but 30 minutes into my workout I was finding I was able to get more reps and needed only 30 seconds, instead of 60, rest before my next set. I also felt I could train for much longer as well.

Second day I took it again 9 tabs and hit chest on it’s own. This time I felt huge chest pumps and fullness that I’ve never experienced with any product before! Believe me I’ve taken many supps over my 13 years of training.

Same story for the rest of the month really and can’t quite believe how effective this supplement is.

To sum it up, having taken this product for 30 days:

Bench poundage increased by 25lbs
Arms grew about 1 inch without puffiness normally associated with taking big doses of creatine.
Strength and muscle endurance increased significantly.
Focus and Training Intensity went through the roof.

I’ve heard many people on the forum saying Morph is underdosed and can honestly state, if you weigh 200lbs+. Defintely take 9 tabs instead of six on training days. Otherwise stick with 6 tabs and you can’t go wrong.

I was stacking Morph with MXL7, ISA-Test (new version), Pro-recover, Multi vits, Unflavoured and Unsweetened Whey Isolate & Hydrosolate.

Quite simply MORPH is the best supplement I have taken thus far!
