Let’s face it, in our journey to get fit, shredded and huge we often get discouraged and demotivated. We let ourselves miss one workout and then we end up missing a whole week’s worth. In times like these you gotta motivate yourself to get back on track and the best way to do that is by watching some motivational videos.
There are many ways to stay motivated, and many people have their own way of pumping themselves up in the gym. One of the best ways to get motivated is by watching videos of those we aspire to be like. Some people have their own goals in mind and simply envisioning these goals puts them on the right state of mind.
If you have trouble with motivation, here are a few videos to get you going.
The Classics
You could watch a Rocky marathon but if you don’t have the time a few of the training montages should do the work. Rocky tells the tale of the ultimate underdog: a rookie boxer who was pinned to fight the heavyweight champion of the world, Apollo Creed. OK, that explanation wasn’t necessary since pretty much everyone and their grandma has seen Rocky (and immediately went out and hit the weights after wards). But pretty much anyone that is new to a sport goes through similar feelings of facing insurmountable goals, and watching Sly Stallone train is incredibly motivating.
The Bodybuilders
If you’re looking to get big, nothing will psych you up more than some loud music and people lifting heavy weights. If you watch these videos and don’t feel like hitting the gym, then something is definitely wrong with you. If this doesn’t cut it, try checking out some of the training videos of pro bodybuilders.
Cardio
Cardio is tough and most of us hate to do it. We whine about having to go on the treadmill and run for 20 minutes a day. Well here’s a guy who runs a hundred miles a day and you don’t see him complaining.
Music
If you need some great music to psych you up check these out
Eminem – Till I collapse
Eye of the Tiger
300 Violin Orchesta
Quote
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength” – Unknown.
“Remember, it’s not how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep on going.”
Conclusion
That should be enough to get you worked up and excited to lift some weights, and if it’s not check out more motivational videos and music .
Now that you’re feeling motivated restock your pre-workout supply and get to the gym!
